Dish Network has revealed the best broadband plans for Free-to-Air TV, offering free Internet TV through its DISH Network TV, DISH Internet, DASH TV and DASH Instant TV packages.
The company also announced that its new streaming video service, DSTV, will be available for $29.99 per month, which is $10 less than its competitors’ $60 per month plan.
The service will also offer up to 20 channels and a slew of other features.”DISH NetworkTV and DISH Instant TV offer the highest quality of broadband, the lowest monthly fees, and the most value of any streaming video provider,” Dish Network CEO Bob O’Reilly said in a statement.
“These offerings offer a simple, flexible, and affordable way for consumers to enjoy TV content without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars per month on cable or satellite.”
Dish Network TV and Dish Instant TV are also the only streaming video services that offer the ability to stream to DVR and pause for later.
Dish is the only TV provider that doesn’t offer an On Demand subscription option.
“The price of broadband is going up every year, and consumers need to be prepared to make that adjustment,” O’Brien said.
“There’s no doubt we’re going to see more choices come to the market.”DISH also announced plans to expand the Free-To-Air channel lineup, including the debut of a new DASH television channel.
The channel will be an exclusive channel for Dish, Dish Network, DirecTV Now and TBS, and it will include programming from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and HBO Now.
