That’s according to the country’s Department of Telecom, which is looking at the state of India’s connectivity in 2017 and 2018.
The report reveals that India has more than 500 million people, which accounts for nearly 50% of the countrys population of 3.6 billion.
The department said that the data shows that the country has experienced a huge growth in internet use in the past five years and that in the last six months, Internet usage increased by almost 80%.
The report also revealed that the state has a huge number of broadband subscribers, which are mostly internet users and the rest are low-income.
The department said in the first five months of 2017, India had 1.7 billion broadband subscribers.
The country has also managed to improve its overall connectivity by adding more fibre optic cables.
The report showed that the government has increased the broadband speed of the network to reach its goals.
The Department of Telecommunications also revealed how the country is getting more and more information.
The number of subscribers of various government agencies grew by around 70% in 2017.
This figure has gone up by 60% in 2018.
Data also showed that India also has the lowest population density in the world.
The data showed that it had less than 1,200 people per square kilometre, which means it’s almost the same density as Singapore.
